BACKGROUND

SYARIKAT ZULKIFLI BAMADHAJ SDN BHD was founded in 1965 and incorporated on 1972.

The formation of PETANI was inspired by the founders who were working as farmers with years of experience in the field of agriculture. Their experience in this field has provided them with the inspiration to deliver a leading local brand company in the herbal industries.

The principal activity of the company is to process and manufacture traditional medicine that are made from the natural herbs. The operation of the business takes place in 1-1, Jalan Perindustrian 2, Kawasan Perindustrian Bukit Bakri, 84200 Muar, Johor, Malaysia. The company has obtained its GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) License from the National Pharmaceutical Control Bureau, Ministry of Health of Malaysia.

In 2006, the company has formed its first subsidiary company — ZULKIFLI BAMADHAJ MARKETING (M) SDN BHD where the overall planning and implementation of activities that involves selling and marketing are handled entirely by the subsidiary company.

In the following year (2007), a new subsidiary company named ZULKIFLI BAMADHAJ BEVERAGES INDUSTRIES SDN BHD was formed. This company focuses on the processing activities and production of its main products that are in the FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) sector. There are two main categories of products for this company. The first category is the Instant Premix Drink such as 3 in 1 coffee and tea; the second category is the Ready to Drink fruit juices.

Syarikat Zulkifli Bamadhaj Sdn Bhd group with its subsidiary companies which are Zulkifli Bamadhaj Beverages Industries Sdn Bhd, Zulkifli Bamadhaj Marketing (M) Sdn Bhd and Zulkifli Bamadhaj Laboratory are certified with GMP (BPFK), Green 5S Program (G5S) by SIRIM, ISO 22000 and HACCP.
